High Performance Laptops – Lenovo T Series
When it comes to high performance laptops, Lenovo is recognized brand for creating quality and durable laptops. Lenovo laptops create a variety of series. This review will cover their “T” series. The Lenovo Thinkpad T series currently comes in 3 models. The Thinkpad T410, T510, & T410s.
General Overview: The Lenovo T series is a sleek, yet durable laptop recommended for business professionals who travel. The best thing about a Lenovo laptop is its durability. These are perhaps the most solidly built laptops. Another great feature, is its size. Although somewhat heavy (due to solid parts), these Thinkpads are very sleek in size. The first 2 series are 14.1″ and the T410s is 15.6″.
Overall Performance: The thinkpads are not the most powerful laptop. If you want to use them for gaming, we wouldn’t recommend it. However these laptops are great for business professionals who need them to work and not break down. These laptops are great for watching movies on the go, delivering professional powerpoints at business meetings, surfing the web, typing up reports, etc. Its impressive new battery from Lenovo gives the Thinkpad an impressive 18 hours of battery life.
Additional Features: The thinkpad T series also has the famous trackpoint mouse system. We personally love the trackpoint mouse and wish every laptop manufacturer would incorporate this into their laptops. The trackpoint is great for those on the go who cannot plug in a USB external mouse or use the traditional touchpad. It also contains the middle mouse button which is often missing on many laptops. This makes it great for scrolling through large documents, etc. Another unique feature is the finger print scanner. Some may like this and some may not, but it is a handy little extra for a laptop.
Overall: In conclusion, the Lenovo T series is a great line of Thinkpads. We highly recommend these to the business professional or everyday user who just wants a solidly built laptop. Although it might not be ideal for games, this laptop will play movies, surf the web, and do other useful chores. Its very sturdy and is will just work without breaking down. Overall it’s a high performance laptop for the business professional.
